From here to your first conversation

Four steps, and a payment method appears in none of them.

1

Make an account

Email and a password. That's the whole gate.

2

Join your circles

Use the invite link you were sent, or find a public circle in Discover.

3

Start talking

One button matches you with another member for a short guided video call.

4

Keep who you click with

Swap cards at the end of a call and they're saved to your connections.

The one exception

Some circles charge to join. That price isn't ours.

  • Most circles are free, and free ones say so on the circle card.
  • If a circle charges, you see the price before you join and confirm it yourself.
  • That fee is set by the circle's creator and goes to their community, not to TalkSpree.
FAQ

What members actually ask

No. Creating an account asks for an email and a password - there is no payment step, no trial to start, and nothing to cancel later.

Not as a member. Our business model is the plans that circle creators pay for. Being in circles, talking to people, and keeping your connections is the free side of the product on purpose - a community only works if everyone in it can actually be there.

No. A paid circle shows its price on the circle card, and joining it is an explicit confirmation on your side. Free circles are labelled "Free". You can't stumble into a charge by clicking around.

Members don't have a minute balance at all, so you'll never see a meter. Conversation minutes belong to the circle and its creator manages them.

As many as you like. Being in five circles costs exactly what being in one costs.

Thinking of starting your own circle?

That's the side of TalkSpree that has plans. Have a look at what running a community costs - it starts at nothing.
